I’m a first-generation engineer with dual degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Robotics. My journey into biomedical engineering began during a campus tour where I attended a lecture on a groundbreaking biodegradable pacemaker project. That experience sparked a passion that has driven my academic and career choices ever since. I chose to combine robotics with biomedical engineering because of my love for building and innovating together. They provide a unique blend of skills that I’m excited to leverage in the development of advanced medical devices and technologies.
Beyond the classroom and lab, I have a variety of hobbies that keep my creativity and problem-solving skills sharp. I enjoy playing the guitar, golfing (and yes, I even managed a hole-in-one—a milestone I’m very proud of!), hanging out with friends, and taking part in local trivia. These activities not only help me unwind but also inspire fresh perspectives that I bring back to my work.
Some of the technical and professional skills I’ve developed include:
CAD, Simulation & Prototyping: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, COMSOL, rapid prototyping, 3D printing
Programming & Data Analysis: Python, MATLAB, C++, NumPy, pandas
Control & Embedded Systems: PID, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, IMU
Version Control & Documentation: Git, LaTeX, technical writing
Project Management: Skilled in setting goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and innovative solution development.
Team Collaboration: Effective in multidisciplinary team environments.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
